If you are coming off the unsuccessful low carb diet, the pH miracle diet will come as a relief to you. A low carb diet requires a heavy protein intake that might be ruthless on your digestive system and stomach. You can find a better equilibrium of carbs and proteins. On the pH diet you will be eating selected proteins that have a low level of acid. Those proteins are mostly beans, nuts and tofu which are considered alkaline proteins.

This can be a hazard to your health and you will suffer from malnutrition even if you feel satisfied. If you concentrate on fresh foods and veggies your body will gain from the vitamins and minerals. Adding alkaline foods will improve your health greatly.
